Abstract
The article view pedagogy of high school simultaneously as a science and as an art. The authors stated that pedagogy of high school has all the signs of criteria, the totality of which gives ground to include without any doubts the pedagogy of high school into the field of theoretical and applied scientific knowledge. In the article the factors that determine the status of pedagogics as a science have been defermined.
