The article analyzes deviations from the norms of modern Ukrainian literary language as a result of interference, determines the characteristics of the phenomenon of "surzhik", considers the causes of language asymmetry and typical errors in professional communication. Moreover, there were discovered the essence of the concepts of "asymmetry", "deviation", "interference", analyzed the most typical linguistic deviation, caused by violation of literary language, including pronouncing, accentuation, word structural, lexical, morphological and syntactic. There also was proven the necessity of increasing speech culture in professional communication.
