Abstract

Patriotic upbringing begins at home as a family and continues in kindergarten and school. European Union documents address issues of patriotic education. In Polish programs of education and upbringing, considerable attention is paid to the education of patriots of their homeland, at the same time citizens of Europe. The purpose of such education is education aimed at peace and work. The difficulty of such upbringing is that people of different nationalities live in Poland, in which it is necessary to cultivate tolerance, respect for the Motherland, the desire to work for its benefit. Poles traveling to other lands must also be tolerant of others, but remember their homeland.
