The role of political education in the formation of national, patriotic and moral consciousness of youth has been studied in the article, education of spiritual values, as a specific method of forming a political identity and integrity of the individual has been emphasized. Attention is paid to education of national consciousness, civic active position. Higher education provides training of highly-spiritual individual, forms national, patriotic and moral consciousness of young people, helping to join cultural society, aimed at developing values, based on the study of the historical development of society, filled with new content, performing both social and humanistic function.
