The article deals with conscious and unconscious attitudes toward the healthy way oflife. Modern scientific researches on the problem of psychological peculiarities of the evaluative attitude development toward health have been analysed. On the basis of theoretical data the conclusions, which concern the psychological nature, mechanisms and functions of evaluative attitude toward the healthy way of life have been made.
