The role of local lore axiosphere in moral education of primary school pupils

Abstract

The educational value of local history through the axiological analysis has been considered in the article. The aim of the article is to substantiate the role of local history axiosphere in moral education of primary school children. The article has been focused to the classification of naturalistic values according to the meaning of cognitive objects, namely people, nature, economy, history and culture of the native land. It has been emphasized by the author that the meaning of axiological approach can be disclosed only through such axiological principles as: equality of all philosophical views within a single system of humanistic values (while maintaining the diversity of their cultural and ethnic characteristics); equivalence of tradition and creativity, recognizing the need to study and use the gains of the past and opportunities of opening in the present and the future; existential equality of people, socio-cultural pragmatism instead of disputes concerning values background; dialogue instead of indifference or mutual opposition. The possibilities of different types of regional research and their importance in the moral education of The role of local history axiosphere in moral education of primary school children have been analyzed.
