Abstract

The problem of psychological violence over children of preschool age is highlighted. Reasons, kinds and consequences of committing psychological violence against children, for thesake of parental competence for the further education of emotionally healthy child are also exposed. The aim of investigation: to prove the social significance of the problem of psychological abuse of children of preschool age. The object of study: the emotive sphere of pre-school children. Mostly facts of psychological violence occur in those families where parents themselves have to cope with a lot of stress and do not succeed. It can not only be alcohol addiction or drugs, but serious illness of a child or any other member of the family, financial problems, social isolation, when the family has got lack of support from family, friends or a lack of knowledge about child's development and education. In this way parents place too high demands towards their child. Sometimes adults believe that bullying and indignity are optimal ways to maintain control of the child. And of course, there are adults which being small were exposed to violence in the family and they are used act within this stereotype, they just can not act differently. The problem of psychological abuse of children is rather urgent today. Children are the future adults and the more they are exposed to violence the more they learn the patterns of behavior of the aggressor and the victim. It is also worth noting the lack of the problem investigation in modern society. Psychologists distinguish the following forms of psychological violence, as repulsion, ignoring, isolating, terrorizing, indifference, degradation.
