The article is dedicated to the problem of music and spirituality determination influence on a personality development. Spirituality is examined in the article as a fundamental quality of a personality and aim on which the education process must be directed to. Spirituality development is of the most important advantages in education. Determination types of musical activity, that stimulate and correct natural development of a personality, as under act of pleasure feelings and joy, that arose up in contact with music, tension and activity of psychical processes grow, namely: listening of music, perception of music, reflection of music (sound formation, singing), music performance, musically-rhythmic motions (game, dances). It is defined, that the music covers such early areas of the psyche as a sensory, motor skills, emotions and others. In general the influence of music on the psychological development is very significant (on the creation, spirituality, intellect). Accent the importance of music education of the personality, the value of music in the development of intellection, imagination, attention, memory, volition, emotions, moral and aesthetical needs and cognitive abilities. The music activates the perception and impression, awakes the fantasy and imagination. It depicts us the phenomena of life that enrich the individual new images. While listening to music the personality can be taught mental and spiritual concentration, the ability to feel and consider, stay alone for a while, alone with his inner world. Music develops the individual ability to clearly differentiate the world around him, making the personality more susceptive and feeling. It is also highlighted that creative musical tasks assist in the formation of personality’s research activity which needs mental activity efforts as well. In personality development musical education must not be secondary or additional, it must be basic. Music, word and motion, develop spiritual force, provide a basis for personality development, the basis without which humanity will come to spiritually-moral devastation. In the process of the analyses in the article it is defined that music in a concord with all arts occupies a high place, because it influences a personality from the point of view of its traits and in complex.
