The aim of the article is to study the model of social and psychological support of decision-making processes at the urban community level. For a detailed study and establishment of basic elements of the model, which should reflect its peculiarities of social systems at the urban community level, summative assessment has been organized and conducted. According to the results of the experiment the dominant strategies of the management decision-making at the urban community level and problem areas that arise during the decision-making process have been defined. Basic forms of social and psychological support of management decision-making process that are most effective in this context have been also defined. The model built according to the results of the research records that the systemic social and psychological support is based on the need for conscious consideration of social and psychological context during management decisions-making process at the urban communities’ level and to promote efficiency and implementation of professional management activities. We proved that the basic factors of effective activity of the manager at the urban community level is its own social and psychological readiness and willingness to conscious (reflexive) collaboration with a psychologist who practices in management. Readiness is expressed in the internal structures of order, coherence of the main components of the individual manager in sustainability, stability and continuity of their operation, and also the psychological unity and integrity of the individual and promotes its business performance in many situations. The prospects for further study of this problem include the development of a system of psychological practices in management activity at the urban community level. The involvement of professional psychologists to the decision-making process at the urban community to create conditions provide adequate self-relations system "subject of management - management object" reflexive exercise exit, organization of thinking communication, maintain the balance of system "management actions - social consequences", implementation of expert position, harmonization of relations "manager - performer".
