Formation of professional and pedagogical culture of future specialists in social work

Abstract.

The article deals with the necessity and expediency of improving the system of professional training of future social work specialists in the context of new challenges caused by the reform of decentralization of power in Ukraine and the formation of territorial communities. The new challenges of the present that are connected with the changing paradigm of social work in the territorial community, dictate fundamentally new requirements for professional activity, and, consequently, the professional training of modern social work specialists. The author analyzed the essence of professional and pedagogical culture of social work specialists as an integral part of professional competence and general system of professional training. It has been found out that the professional-pedagogical culture is a complex integrative professionally conditioned personal formation, which is based on systemic knowledge and manifests itself in the ability to perform professional functions and tasks taking into account the peculiarities of the psychological-pedagogical context of social problems. The leading components of the professional pedagogical culture of social work specialists have been identified and characterized: motivational-value, cognitive-cognitive, psychological-pedagogical and behavioral activity. Organizationally pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of professional pedagogical culture of future specialists in social work in higher education institutions have been characterized.
